This dashboard was developed by a team of four students as part of a capstone project in partnership with GASP, a Pittsburgh based environmental advocacy organization. It tracks the backlog of Title V air quality permit applications submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), providing a regional breakdown of new and renewal permits that have exceeded standard processing timelines. The goal of this tool is to support GASP's advocacy efforts by making permit backlog trends more visible and accessible to researchers, advocates, and the public.
