We don’t have to tell you: Times are tough. The word “unprecedented” keeps coming up to describe how COVID-19 has affected the very fiber of our existence. The way we work. The way we shop. The way we interact with one another. Even the way we give.
When it comes to fundraising, the hard truth for small nonprofits like us is this: Things might get worse before they start to get any better. Like so many other groups, GASP is funded primarily through grants, individual donations, and foundation support – resources that will be in even higher demand because of the pandemic.
With apologies to the Beatles, we want to remind everyone that when things get tough, we get by with a little help from our friends. So, on this special GivingTuesday we want you – our friends – to know we need you now more than ever.
