A public hearing for permits - including the Title V Operating Permit for U.S. Steel's Edgar Thomson facility - has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23 at:

Greater Valley Community Services 300 Holland Avenue Braddock, PA 15104

Those wishing to speak at the hearing must register using ACHD’s Public Hearing Participation Form - Allegheny County, PA. You must register no less than 24 hours in advance of the hearing, and testimony is limited to three minutes. If no one has registered by Thursday, Sept. 19 the hearing will be cancelled and notice of cancellation will be posted on the ACHD website.

ACHD will also accept written comments beginning Thursday, Aug. 22, and concluding at 11:59 PM on Monday, Sept. 23 by mail to:
