This summit will include a one-day academic symposium, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Sacoby Wilson. 

Multiple panels and activities throughout the day will engage attendees with community members, community organizations, and academic researchers all interested in freeing ourselves and our communities from the environmental injustices that abound in our region. 

As we work together for justice in our environments, we also want to honor what ancestral and indigenous wisdom has been teaching us for generations: that healing and joy are essential elements of liberation.

Also being offered two community events rooted in healing justice principles and a closing ceremony designed to bear witness to the slow violence of environmental degradation being perpetuated on our land and all those who call it home.
