About the event
The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) will host a public hearing regarding the proposed issuance of air quality permits for U.S. Steel's Hot Strip Mill planned for its Edgar Thomson facility on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.
The event will be held at 5 p.m. at Carnegie One Library in Braddock, 419 Library St, Braddock, PA 15104.
The department will also accept written comments through 11:59 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2026, by mail to:
