In light of the disastrous East Palestine train derailment in February and almost a dozen emissions violations at the Shell cracker plant, Beaver County residents have been raising questions and concerns about the local government’s emergency response plans and notification procedures.

This town hall will be a chance to hear directly from government agencies about who has authority and responsibility over safety issues, emergency response, and regulatory issues regarding the Shell cracker plant. Residents will be able to ask questions directly and openly and have questions answered in real time.
