Public Meeting on the Proposed Non-recovery Coke Plant in Hazelwood

Breathing Easier this Summer?

This may be due to the closure of the LTV Coke Works in Hazelwood last February.

That Could Change…

There are plans for a new bigger coke plant at the Hazelwood site. It would bring back air pollution and be much noisier. It would employ far fewer workers than the old plant. Is this the bext investment for our health, our quality of life, and the city’s future? Come to a public discussion and hear more. Your questions will be answered by a panel representing various viewpoints of this issue.
