The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) will host a public hearing regarding the proposed issuance of U.S. Steel's Title V operating permit for its Clairton Coke Works facility.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Clairton Municipal Building, Ravensburg Blvd., Clairton, PA 15025.

Anyone who would like to speak at the hearing should register online at least 24 hours in advance of the hearing on the ACHD's permits webpage at https://alleghenycounty.us/AQnotices. If no one is registered to give testimony at least four days in advance of each hearing, that hearing will be canceled. 

If the hearing is canceled, the department will provide public notice on the webpage or through the contact information listed above. When making comments on previously issued installation or operating permits being modified, please consider the modified language only.
