Promoting Fuel Efficient, Clean Vehicles

GASP is gearing up for our 4th annual Drive Cleaner Drive Greener events! Our main event will be held at the Venture Outdoors Festival on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, as it has been for the past two years. We are inviting local owners of hybrid vehicles and other fuel efficient, clean vehicles to be part of this fun event by displaying their cars and being available to answer questions about them from event attendees.

DCDG @ the Venture Outdoors Festival on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, near Heinz Field FREE! Rain or shine. Don’t miss the free Venture Outdoors Festival with hands-on outdoor activities–fun for the whole family!
11 am-4 pm (vehicles will be displayed in two shifts: 11-1:30 and 1:30-4)

Attention: Owners of Hybrid Cars or Alternative Fuel Vehicles!

If you already own a hybrid or alternative fuel vehicle, we’d love to display it at one of our DCDG events this year. You can provide a valuable service by being available to answer questions about your experiences with a unique vehicle and showing off your car’s environmentally friendly features! As a small token of our appreciation, each volunteer who displays a vehicle will receive a goody bag filled with GASP materials and additional items. Please contact GASP at 412-325-7382 or bridget@gasp-pgh.org about this volunteer opportunity.

We are looking for volunteers:

to help publicize the event by posting flyers and sending e-mail messages to friends

to display their hybrid cars (see description above)

to find hybrid car owners who will display their cars

to put GASP in touch with dealerships who may be interested in participating in the event

to make wooden free-standing sign frames

to help at the event: setting up, handing out information, signing up test drivers, taking pictures, cleaning up
